  • 1:1 with your manager — roles, goals, 30-60-90 plan
  • Clone the workspace: gh repo clone tappass/tappass && gh repo clone tappass/tappass-sdk && gh repo clone tappass/docs
  • Read the root CLAUDE.md — it’s the map of the monorepo
  • Walk through Local setup
  • Get docker compose up working end-to-end locally
  • Ship a “hello-world” PR — fix a typo, bump a dep, anything. Get the release flow in your fingers.
  • Read Architecture in the public docs
  • Read Governance Pipeline in the public docs
  • Read Release process
  • Pair on an on-call shadowing shift
  • Take a first meaningful ticket. Aim for “in review” by end of week.
  • Do one incident-response drill (see Incident response runbook)
  • Rotate your personal GitHub PAT to an SSH key if you haven’t already
